Why I Started Agile Leadership Learning

If I could go back and give my younger self one thing, it would be this: a mentor. Someone who’d been there, stumbled and learned, and could help me skip a few bumps in the road. Maybe you know what I mean—no matter how hard you work, sometimes you just need someone who gets it.

When I started out in management, I had ambition and drive. What I didn’t have? Real guidance. There were plenty of books, a few generic seminars, and lots of “figure it out yourself.” I did okay, but looking back… having a mentor would’ve made all the difference.

That’s honestly why I started Agile Leadership Learning. It’s not just about building skills—it’s about building real support for people like us. Because here’s the truth: managers face a new world now. Everything moves fast, teams are more remote, and digital tools can only take us so far. The ability to work with people, inspire them, and communicate clearly is more important than ever.

I wanted to create the kind of atmosphere I never had—where new managers feel encouraged, not judged. Where you can ask the “dumb questions” (spoiler: there aren’t any!) and where you get practical tools that actually help.

That’s what the Manager to Leader Accelerator Program is all about. Over four weeks, you’ll learn:

  • How to communicate so your team actually hears you

  • Ways to motivate people (without cheesy pep talks)

  • Real-world emotional intelligence—the not-so-secret sauce behind every leader you’ve ever admired

My hope? That with some support and a clear playbook, your path to leadership feels less lonely and a lot more possible. If you’ve been wishing for a mentor, or just a community that gets it—you’re in the right place.

Ready to grow? You don’t have to do it alone this time.
